Few could tell World War Three
Would be an apocalyptic showdown
Between humanity
And a microscopic virus
Hell-bent,
Like some of our leaders,
On becoming
King of the World.
A crisis may be disturbing,
But it’s also a crossroads –
A crucial opportunity.
Time is running out.
The human race,
Therefore,
Must choose right now
Whether to continue
Down the dark, destructive path
Of greed and inequality
Or at last unite
And turn
Onto the radiant highway
Leading to justice,
Peace, sustainability
And life.
