If We Would Seek

Michael Peach

If we would seek the Lord within,
We’d spurn apocalyptic ploys;
And through our wholeness we would win
The Garden, where each one enjoys
Good health, longevity, and strength
Of frame, indeed, but also mind –
Which, faced with natural death at length,
Not hell but peaceful rest should find.
