Presumably Bibi believes
That, since Iran has all but made
An atom bomb,
Were he to order a pre-emptive strike
Factious Israelis would unite
And then reprieve –
Nay, release him
From judicial judgment.
That this war could spark
An apocalypse
Is a risk he, it appears,
Would be willing to take.
Indeed, his “prophecies”
Regarding Iran’s objectives,
Though paranoid
And possibly self-fulfilling,
Might well be justified.
Needless to say,
Should he in fact attack,
Most of us may never know
Who, if anyone,
Had told the actual truth.
