While the Germans, on the whole, through penitence
Have integrated their collective shadow
And beaten their fiery swords into pens and ploughshares,
The victors of the last World War have not.
Accordingly they project infectious hubris
And paranoia on those who feel most incensed,
Creating, thus, Islamic Prometheans.
