Michael Peach

If like most other geniuses he bore
Within himself the genius of the age,
At times opposing forces split his core
Inducing fits of madness, fear and rage.
This said, it’s clear his ego’s light was strong:
Enabling him to differentiate,
Despite his shadow’s weight, ’tween right and wrong;
Creative art and schizophrenic state.
He thence through drama’s sacred alchemy –
Its transmutation, stages, works and stars –
Reverted deeds to archetype and allegory,
Thus integrating safely acts of Mars.
++To Will, who would restore the general soul,
++Instead of fission fusion was the goal.
