The Messianic Age (3)

Michael Peach

I dreamt I was aboard
An international space station,
The lofty headquarters of the UN.
I watched as the representatives
(Respected stewards of the One God)
Conveyed the result
Of their nation’s vote,
Regarding a resolution.

Beneath us Mother Earth,
No longer plagued
By insatiable capitalists,
Dialectical materialists,
Religious terrorists
And other apocalyptists,
Performed in peace
A natural revolution.

And I saw that it was good.
