When the Torah, New Testament
And Koran
Are no longer hijacked
By theocratic sadists,
Messiah-making masochists,
Shadow-possessed, “fact”-obsessed
Apocalyptic literalists,
Or regarded
By passive-aggressive partisans
As exclusive repositories
Of Divine revelations, sacred laws
And various vicarious acts,
But are acknowledged
Universally
As holistic collections of ancient
Archetypal myths
Reflecting the active human psyche
And its constant communion
With the Holy Spirit,
The Creator will at last become
The living God for all
And we His creative stewards.
