Only a just peace
With the Palestinians,
Or “Children of Esau”,
Can bring to pass Israel’s
Long-awaited redemption.
If, as the Trump Plan urges,
You choose to bow
To the blackmail
And sheer idolatry
Of Jewish settlers
And evangelicals
And annex the West Bank,
You’ll steer – nay, plunge
Our nation
Into the dark abyss
Of Messianic madness –
Which, as in the past,
Can only lead
To Israel’s destruction.
