\nAnd gave my life in his good name,

\nI here on earth performed my acts:
\nProjections of the mind were then
\nRegarded as objective facts.<\/p>\n
\nIn \u2018deeds\u2019 a story all should live
\nWithin the psyche<\/em>, where are made
\nThe images which meaning give.<\/p>\n
\nAnd \u2018word\u2019 is often rendered \u2018flesh\u2019,
\nThe inner drama that I cite
\nShould be interpreted afresh.<\/p>\n
\nAlready in our Holy Writ:
\nThe Garden<\/em> is the outward norm
\nTo which we humans must submit.<\/p>\n
\nIn fact <\/em>(not just as some ideal,
\nWhich makes most folk irascible):
\nIn gardens resurrection\u2019s real.<\/p>\n
\nWho gain integrity inside
\nAnd, through projection, then install
\nIn life the love<\/em> they shouldn\u2019t hide.<\/p>\n
\nApocalyptic thought persists;
\nAnd Armageddon will be fought
\nIf grow the fundamentalists.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nI kissed him gently on the cheek,
\nThen said: \u201cI will; and now I know
